The Generous

     Generous are those who rush
     Unconditionally
     To our sides at times of need
     Extending a good old warm hug or
     A homemade apple pie
     Sharing childhood stories and
     A tearful cry

     Generous are those who give
     Unselfishly
     Of themselves and their time
     And make donations to a worthy cause
     Drop a dollar or two
     In some down-and-out's cup/
     Sacrifice can-goods for other's sup
